From Inspiration to Assignment: A Mandate to Serve Women
The Ministry of Daughters was born from a personal encounter with Jesus, inspired by Luke 8:48, where Jesus calls the healed woman “Daughter” and restores both her body and identity. That moment reflects the heart of this ministry: restoration, hope, and freedom found in Christ.
Once a single parent, I walked through divorce, struggle, and many difficult seasons where it felt as though my whole world had ended. Yet in those broken places, God was still working. He restored my life and my family, eventually blessing me with my husband, Daniel. Together, we celebrated 26 years of marriage, raising six children in Andrews, Texas. What God restored in my life became the foundation of this ministry.
Daughters exists to carry out the mandate of Christ by serving women who feel overlooked or burdened—single parents, women returning to education, and those seeking a fresh start. Through personal mentorship, Christian sanctuary, and practical support in both tangible and non-tangible ways, we believe Jesus still heals, restores, and sets the captive free.
From Humble Beginnings to Lasting Impact
What began as a home-based sanctuary is already producing meaningful transformation in the lives of women seeking restoration. This foundational model reflects a proven approach among growing nonprofits, starting with accessible, intentional care while building toward expanded impact.
As the vision continues to develop, plans are underway for a dedicated resource center that will significantly increase capacity and services. With the support of donors and grant partners, this next phase will create a sustainable, scalable environment designed to deliver long-term healing outcomes, strengthen communities, and extend the reach of this life-restoring work.
