Have you ever entered a season of life you never expected—facing trouble in your body, family, or finances and wondering how you will make it through? You try to pull yourself out, only to fall back in.

As I thought about what it is to wait on the Lord, He reminded me that it is not a time of feeling overlooked or a time to feel overwhelmed. Waiting on the Lord is partnering with God, actively participating by trusting what He wants to do for you and with you.

Hebrews 12:5–11 reminds us that the Lord disciplines those He loves, and that His correction is for our good so we may share in His holiness and receive the peaceful fruit of righteousness.

Correction Is Not Rejection

Dear woman of God, there are seasons when the Lord's correction can feel uncomfortable, painful, or even confusing. We may wonder, “Why is God dealing with me here?” or “Why can’t I keep going the way I was going?” But Hebrews 12 gently reminds us that God’s correction is not proof that He has turned away from us. It is proof that He loves us enough to draw us closer.

I have a message to share with you Today. This story begins in the Book of Acts, chapter 26, when the Apostle Paul is standing trial for his Faith in God. He is accused of being a troublemaker and stands before Festus and then before King Agrippa, testifying about how Christ has changed him. Paul appeals to stand before Caesar, the emperor of Rome. But in order to get to Rome, they will need to set sail.

But on this journey, they will encounter a great storm. Paul recognized this early on and warned the guards, but they refused to listen to him. 

David's story in this passage shows us one of the most distressing moments of his life. Saul was pursuing him with an army determined to kill him. David was practically surrounded; every step seemed to bring him closer to capture. From a human perspective, there was no way of escape.

But God had already prepared his rescue!!

I love how the word of God reminds us of who we truly are. What I hear through the scriptures is that God wants us to recognize our identity; our existence is not random. It serves a glorious purpose, and that purpose is to walk in the fullness of Christ as daughters.

As we reflect on the life of an athlete, it's hard not to admire the dedication and discipline they show in training for competition. The countless hours spent in preparation, the sacrifices made, and the commitment to excellence all serve as powerful reminders on our spiritual journey. Just as athletes are called to run their race with purpose and perseverance, so are we. 

“If you carefully obey my commands… I will send rain on your land in its season, both the early and the latter rain.”

Israel had come from a wilderness where they depended on manna and where they did not cultivate the land as they would in Canaan. God taught them that the blessing of the land would depend on a relationship of love, obedience, and dependence upon Him.

Often when we hear about the story of Esther from the bible, the words “For such a time as this” are mentioned. This is true and Esther was placed in the king’s court to save the people of her lineage at the time.  Her bravery and wisdom in dealing with the king and the enemy of her people are well established and shared. We should all strive to be prepared for “such a time as this.”

Today, I am inspired to reflect on the profound fruit of patience, beautifully encapsulated in Galatians 5 as a fruit of the Spirit. This quality, often overlooked, holds immense power in our spiritual journey. When we embrace patience, we open our hearts to God, allowing Him to work within us and transform our thoughts and actions to mirror His divine character.

What does "position" mean biblically? In today's weekly word, we will express the importance of being in the right position. This means being in a precise location that aligns you with God's perfect will. Many people often ask the question, "Am I in the right place, Lord? Should I change churches? Should I change jobs?" These are questions we, as women, sometimes confront daily. I want to encourage you not to let your decisions be based on feelings or emotions. Instead, seek God's guidance in your choices. Always remember that everything assigned to your life has already been written.

Recently, I was reminded of the importance of trust. No matter how long you have walked with Christ, there are moments when trusting Him can seem difficult. Trust is the blind faith that we must have in God. So, why doesn't it come easily? It often comes down to unbelief and fear. Trust demands that faith arises, which becomes evident when we have a true relationship with the Lord. When we listen to what He says and to what His Word tells us, we embed those truths in our hearts and stand firm.
